All of us are concerned with our personal health and that of our families during this pandemic. We do what we can to avoid exposure to the virus, keeping ourselves away from harm. However, many people forget about some common ways that the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 may find its’ way onto common areas of our homes.
Think about how many surfaces or objects you touch on your way into the house after returning home from necessary activities. While handwashing is a critical way to remove the coronavirus, another thing you might consider is sanitizing these objects and surfaces soon after you arrive home. Common disinfectant solutions will typically do just fine, or even a simple bleach solution (5 tbsp bleach for every gallon of water) is recommended by the CDC for use in killing the virus.
Simple steps like this can do a lot to keep you and your home healthy!
